A few items of news plus some dates for your diary:

Summer League Success - Well done to everyone who took part in this year’s Summer League, a resounding success, we won all four rounds and have achieved promotion to Division 3 next year. For those of you who didn’t get selected this year, keep training, your time may come in 2004. We would particularly like to thank our ex squad members and Master members who have continued to support the team and without whom we would not have had these great results. They are, Leanne Smith, Mike King, Robin Snell and Mark Hopkins. We hope you will be available to help out next year and also in the forthcoming Winter League.

Winter League 2004 - For the first time, it has been decided to swim the first round in 2003, this will avoid the necessity of having to cram in four rounds between January and Easter. The dates are given below but unfortunately we don’t have the venues as yet, as soon as they are available we will let you know, please check the Notice Board. In this year’s Winter League we did extremely well, we finished in 18^th place (having finished 2002 in 21^st place). Winter League is all relays so we usually need the whole squad. Whilst not a total guarantee of selection, please complete the tear off slip below to indicate your availability and return it to one of the Coaches as soon as possible.

Club Championships - You should, by now, have all received your entry forms for the Club Championships that will be held at the Link Centre on Saturday 18^th October and Saturday 1^st November. We would like to see entries from all of you for these events as well as the 200m events which will take place on Monday 20^th October, Monday 3^rd November and Sunday 9^th November, these three events will be held at the Lime Kiln Centre.

More Pool Time - We are in the process of trying to get more pool time at Lime Kiln. The only slots available to us would be in the mornings, possibly Wednesdays 7-8am. Please complete the section on the tear off strip below, so we can get an idea of numbers.
